NOTE: The Southern Death Cult disbanded before recording had begun for an album. This compact disc has been compiled from existing session and live material, their sole 12" and alternative recordings. Apart from the singles, none of theses tracks were originally intended for release and to due the various sourses of tape, neither the band's performance nor the sound quality can represent the full potential of the songs or cohesion of an album. This compilation stands as an official bootleg adn a testament to the spirit of The Southern Death Cult.

INDFORMAÇÕES ADICIONAIS:

*Versões exclusivas: "Moya" e "Fatman" presentes respectivamente nas coletâneas "Gothic Rock 1 & 2" (Jungle Records/Cleopatra) são demos gravadas no Wessex Studios em 4 de junho de 1982.

*A banda durante seus shows apresentou duas músicas as quais nunca foram gravadas. São elas:
- "War Song"* – tocada na apresentação de estréia em 29/10/1982 (abertura para o Bauhaus). Pelo primeiro verso ("let it be beautiful when I sing the last song") pode-se dizer que se trata de um esboço de "Spiritwalker" gravada pelo Cult no início de 1984. Sua letra é uma referência ao xamanismo.
- "Shakin' All Over" – tocada em um show de 18/02/1983. Trata-se de um cover da banda de Vince Taylor.

* Curiosidade: o Getting The Fear, desde a sua formação, dispensou qualquer música do repertório do Southern Death Cult em suas apresentações, já que tinha como foco apresentar um material totalmente novo, ou melhor, concebido primeiramente a partir de peças descartadas por Ian. Porém, é interessante notar que as primeiras versões de "Sometime" (do Getting The Fear), gravadas em demo tape entre 1983 e 84, tiveram grande parte do seu instrumental retirado de "Patroit" (SDC).
